Polo jobs site relaunched

| April 26, 2012 | 0 Comments

The Polera has relaunched its website for jobhunting and staff recruitment in the polo industry.

Jobseekers can create their own profile on the site for free, where they can upload their CV to the site. By creating a jobseeker profile, jobseekers can then also subscribe to job updates so they will receive email updates about all the latest polo jobs on The Polera’s books.

Employers looking for staff can create an ad from just £50 per month. Polo clubs, yards, patrons and business can create an ad on the site simply and quickly. They first create an Employer profile on the Polo HR section, which will then allow them to publish and manage their ad/s as well as view CVs from jobseekers that have registered on the site.

Recently The Polera posted a job ad for a polo club in Buenos Aires looking for a new polo manager and within an hour of posting the ad on our website, the ad had received over a 100 views.

The Polera also offer recruiters a more bespoke headhunting service, whereby their team match the requirements needed by the recruiter to the skills and experience of applicants they hold on their database to find the right candidate.

A selection of suitable candidates are then sent to the recruiter for review and should the recruiter wish to contact any of them, a headhunter fee is then charged.

The Polera’s polo HR recruitment service caters for all job types and needs in the polo industry, from polo managers, to polo instructors and polo grooms and even farriers. They can also cater for all contract needs, from temporary or seasonal workers to permanent staff.

The Polera is the first polo HR agency to offer these recruitment services to a worldwide audience. The company was founded in 2011 by Raul Schweizer, a professional Argentine polo player and Julie London, a British media and marketing professional. Between them they have years of combined experience within the international polo industry and media and marketing worlds.

The aim of The Polera is to offer the polo player everything they might need in pursuit of the sport they love. The new and improved website hopes to offer the polo player everything they might need, from recruitment and job opportunities, marketing and PR services, to a place to sell and buy horses and polo tack and equipment.
